3.Tibet Tour Day
1- Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel Day
04- (Saturday or Tuesday): KATHMANDU(1300m)-ZHANGMU(2300m)123KM Day 05 - ZHANGMU - XEGAR(4350m) 244 KM : Day drive uphill to the highest plateau of the world with typical view of the Tibetan landscape offering sheer felling of standing on the roof of the world crossing over NYALAM PASS(3,800m)and LALUNGL LA(5,050m), weather permitting breathtaking panorama of beautiful Himalayan ranges including MT EVEREST (8,848M)but dwarfed by the vastness of the Tibetanplateau Day 06 - XEGAR - XIGATSE (3900M) 244 KM: Continue scenic drive crossing over GYATCHULA(5,220M), the highest pass en route to LHASA via LHATSE from where a road to MT KAILASH bifurcates to the west. Overnight at Hotel. Day 07 - XIGATSE - GYANTSE(3950m) 90 KM: Morning sightseeing to the PANCHEN LAMA's TASHILHUMPU MONASTERY. Drive to GYANTSE & visit to the KUMBUM STUPA & PHALKOR MONASTERY. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 09-10 - IN LHASA: Two full day sight seeing tour of Lhasa including JOKHANG TEMPLE,BARKHOR BAZAAR, POTALA PALACE & SERA MONASTERIES. Over night at hotel. Day 11 - (Saturday or Tuesday): LHASA - KATHMANDU : Early morning drive to GONGAAR airport for departure flight to Kathmandu Day
